What does labmixz mean?

Probably one of the questions I'm asked the most, labmixz is something I came up with, I always called my computer "area" a "lab" and I listen to techno/trance alot, one day I was trying to think up a more unique name aside from "the chemist" and blurted out "labmixz" and it stuck. labmixz is me, it is who I am, it defines me, unique.

What do you do for a living?

I am a Developer - developing functional web sites in PHP, Java, ASP, and .NET with SQL back ends. This all translates to, I'm a nerd.

OneSimpleLoan
Oldsmar, FL (12/2005 - 07/2007)
Lead PHP Developer / Lead System Administrator

Worked extensively in PHP5 to create several PHP / SQL based Intranet/Ineternet projects and modify the existing internet website (ASP/PHP/SQL).

Lead Generation - Created a real-time lead insertion web-based application that would check against the National Do Not Call List (NDNC List - SQL Table of 4+ million rows) for affiliates and lead generation companies to post leads to OneSimpleLoan, after passing several check-marks, then the lead was inserted into our SQL Database for our TouchStar dialer system, where the lead was then promptly called. The system would accept HTTP Post, XML upload, .CSV File upload, and SQL connections to allow for incoming data (leads) into the system.

Modification of existing website (.ASP) - Modified the existing website to update/add several different functions which included creation of a loan calculation JavaScript based web-app, ASP based auto-responders, PHP5 based affiliate pages which would save session and cookie information and carry that information to the ASP based web-application already set in place, several modifications on the ASP based web-application.

Affiliate Based Pages - Created PHP5 based affiliate pages which had several functions depending on what the affiliate company called for... Most popular items were unique site-based branding by referring URL, while carrying sessions/cookie and/or saved information (within a SQL DB) to our online application and sometimes to our internal SQL Dial Database which was the main database for our TouchStar Dialers.

IT HelpDesk System - From the ground up I created a help-desk based ticketing system in PHP4 / CSS / HTML, this system was accessible to all members of the IT staff and provided two-way communication between the IT staff and the rest of the staff on site or through our VPN (190 users + 100 affiliate / vpn users). The system would record request tickets, validate the user information against LDAP and secure the pages with LDAP Security Groups, allowed the user to upload files, check the status of the ticket (real time), initiate a conversation with the technician, allow the IT managers to generate KPI reports for the techs and much more.

Operations Console - Similar to the help-desk system, however this was made for interaction between the Administrative staff and Affiliates. The pages were secured with LDAP based look-up's through PHP4/5, some object based programming in this "remake" of the help-desk system allowed for faster server response and faster KPI report generation.

Assisted in creating on a web-based eSignature tool within IIS 6.0 / ASP (.NET) with a MS SQL back end.

Dynamic Script Project - Created a PHP5 based system for our scripting feature within TouchStar's Agent Application, the agent app. would pass a query string with certain information from our SQL table (if an outbound call) or certain avail. info. from the call (if inbound) from there the script would perform several lookups against the phone number and nature of the call to determine the correct script for the agent to use.

Creation of custom vbScripts for user logins (for Active Directory interaction) and network security permissions.

Followed W3C Code Standards.

JR & CGM Enterprises
Tampa, FL (06/2005 - 12/2005)
Developer

Created a light-weight help-desk (ticketing) system while I was there to manage all incoming IT Requests and assign them properly to the correct technicians, the system ran off of MySQL DB and was developed in PHP4, all in-house employee's, remote offices (through VPN connections) and IT staff members used this system and the PO System. (About 500-600 Users).

Crum Services / Crum Staffing
Clearwater, FL (08/2004 - 12/2005)
Developer / System Administrator

Created an in-house Purchase Order (PO) System developed in PHP4, for all employee's to use to order get approval and order anything from office supplies to large machine orders. The system was unique in the way the CEO requested certain items to be routed depending on certain price , usually there was a 5 to 10 step approval / tracking system the order would go through depending on the cost of the order. This system used a MySQL database to house the information on the all the orders, also used an UPS and FedEx API's to bring tracking information into the system (real-time). The PO System was made so that the CEO or Executives could make changes to the defined cost routing tables and the information those tables provided, similar to a CMS-type system.

PHP Processor Information Script / PHP Registry Reader
This is a script I created for my new server, basically you could use this to read anything you would want to out of the system registry. Here I used it to gather the processor infomation should I could display it as part of the servers statistic.

<?php
function getCpuInfo(){

// This function is used to gather informatoin about the system processor
// on a Windows based machine (Windows 98 or higher). This script was created
// for multi-proccessor (ie: multiple cores and/or processors), it may not work
// on single core processors.
